Waterside School in Stamford, CT serves children and families regardless of limitations in income or circumstance. Recently, Berkowitz and Hanna LLC was thrilled to be able to make a contribution to this educational institution.
A donation of $11,000 was made to the school, which attracts students and families who are deeply invested in their children’s success. The school’s mission is “to instill in its students a belief in their own worth, to cultivate in each a commitment to academic excellence, and to ensure the fullest development of every child’s character.” The funds will be used to substantially expand the school’s library collection, which will help improve the reading proficiency of students at the school.
Through the firm’s charitable fund, Berkowitz and Hanna LLC is able to contribute to numerous charitable organizations in Fairfield County, CT to provide help to the people who need it the most. “It’s a pleasure to donate funds to an institution like Waterside School,” said Russ Berkowitz. “It is a place where families in need can gain access to strong academics and the knowledge that will help them become leaders in the future.”
