Berkowitz and Hanna LLC works hard to help those who need legal assistance, and it also provides support to many local charities that supply basic necessities to members of the community. The firm’s Charitable Fund is an important way for Berkowitz and Hanna LLC to give back, and one of the organizations it supports is New Covenant House.
New Covenant House believes there is no greater act of human kindness than to feed the hungry. To fulfill its mission, the organization operates a soup kitchen and provides food to those in need. It serves three meals a day, every day, for no charge. It also offers after-school meals for disadvantaged children and operates a food pantry that provides bagged groceries to families who need help making ends meet.
The firm made a special holiday donation to New Covenant House back in the fall, and continues to support this noble organization. “It’s an honor to support New Covenant House,” said Russell Berkowitz. “They serve approximately 700,000 meals each year and make a difference in the lives of so many people.”
