Russ Berkowitz has filed a lawsuit in Waterbury Superior Court on behalf of the estate of a client who presented to Waterbury Hospital with complaints of left flank pain and vomiting and shockingly died 36 hours later as a result of multiple medical providers’ failure to timely treat her kidney stone and urinary tract infection. Because of the defendants’ negligence, our client’s condition deteriorated during the course of her admission to the point that she ultimately went into septic shock, multi-organ failure, before she arrested and died. At the time of her death, our client was a beautiful 22 year old hairdresser who was studying to be an accountant.
