Russ Berkowitz and Erik Seigel have settled a wrongful death medical malpractice case on behalf of a 71 year old client who was rendered a vegetable and subsequently died as a result of the failure of a hospital’s surgical team to timely diagnose a mediastinal bleed that started during a lung biopsy and remained untreated for over an hour and subsequently caused her to arrest and be without oxygen for a significant period of time.
