Russ Berkowitz and Erik Siegel have settled a wrongful death medical malpractice case against a primary care physician who misdiagnosed our client’s coronary artery disease causing her to sustain a fatal heart attack. Prior to her death, our client had a number of cardiac risk factors that the defendant physician overlooked and she had recently advised the defendant physician of “scary” episodes of short of breath which the defendant dismissed as merely related to an allergy.
