Jennifer Amdur has filed a medical malpractice lawsuit in Danbury Superior Court against Danbury Hospital and Western Connecticut Medical Group on behalf of a client who sustained life-altering gastrointestinal injuries as a result of a negligent robotic hernia surgery performed by our client’s general surgeon. Following three weeks of complaining of signs and symptoms consistent with a perforated colon, our client’s perforation was finally diagnosed but not before she was forced to undergo emergency surgery to save her life. Unfortunately, our client’s gastrointestinal tract was destroyed by the delay in diagnosis and treatment of her perforation and leak altering her daily living forever.
