Russ Berkowitz has just settled a birth injury medical malpractice case against a Connecticut obstetrician and a hospital on behalf of a family whose son was born with hypoxia ischemic encephalopathy and later diagnosed with cerebral palsy following the defendants’ failure to timely recognize his mother was in premature labor and deliver our client before he sustained a prolapsed umbilical cord which cut off his blood supply prior to delivery.
