Russ Berkowitz and Jennifer Amdur have settled a wrongful death medical malpractice action on behalf of the estate of a 13 year old client against a Connecticut hospital that misdiagnosed her leukemia causing her to being administered the wrong chemotherapy treatment. By the time that a second cancer hospital had made the correct diagnosis and adjusted her chemotherapy treatment, our client’s leukemia had progressed to an untreatable stage of the disease and she died. The terms of the settlement are confidential.
