A lawsuit has been filed on behalf of the family of a one-year-old baby boy who tragically died of undiagnosed septic complications following being evaluated and discharged from the pediatric emergency department at Yale-New Haven Hospital. His entire admission at Yale was 21 minutes.
According to Attorney Jen Amdur, “our client and his family were the victims of a system in which patients are too often rushed through the hospital without the safeguards they deserve.”
