Russ Berkowitz and Jennifer Amdur have reached a confidential settlement on behalf of the child who sustained a profound brain injury while a patient at a hospital. According to Berkowitz, “Our client was a normal, happy, and independent child when she entered the defendant hospital, but because of the hospital’s negligence, she sustained a catastrophic anoxic brain injury which has left her fully dependent on others for the rest of her life. While this is an extremely sad situation, at least we were able to make sure that our client will now receive lifetime care for her to live her life with the dignity she deserves”.
