Lawsuit Filed Against Yale Following Nurse’s Criminal Drug-Related Activities

Kelly Ferraro has filed a lawsuit against Yale and a nurse employed by Yale on behalf of a client who was a victim of repeated drug-related crimes while a patient at Yale’s Saint Raphael’s campus.

According to Attorney Ferraro,

“Nurse Sean Falzarano, a registered nurse employed by Yale, perpetrated a criminal scheme by stealing narcotics that were intended for patients, including our client, and swapping them out for saline/water. As a result of such criminal activity, our client, who was being medically managed at the defendant hospital for an anxiety disorder, suddenly began experiencing a severe deterioration of his medical condition because he was not being administered his medications. He has not been the same since. Sadly, the hospital took no precautions prior to this incident to prevent this type of activity from happening, despite it being foreseeable. ”

Subsequent to the discovery of Nurse Falzarano’s criminal activity, he was terminated by the hospital and charged by the police. He subsequently plead guilty to said charges and is awaiting sentencing.
