Jennifer Amdur and Erik Siegel have just settled a medical malpractice case on the eve of trial against a hospital and a neurologist on behalf of a 24 year old client who has been left with a permanent spinal cord injury as a result of the defendants’ failure to timely diagnose and treat a spinal cord lesion that was compressing his spinal cord and causing him significant lower extremity symptoms. As a result of the defendants failure to timely intervene, our client has been left with significant lower extremity weakness, including a permanent limp, and permanent bowel and bladder injuries that will affect his day to day living the rest of his life.
