Erik Siegel and Russ Berkowitz have just settled a wrongful death medical malpractice case against a Connecticut hospital on behalf of the estate of a client as a result of an improper extubation that lead to our client sustaining an anoxic brain injury and ultimately death. According to Erik Siegel” our client was in a compromised state from a respiratory standpoint and it was inexplicable that the medical providers would have expected him to breath on his own following his extubation.
