Andy Wildstein and Jennifer Amdur have been awarded $2.9 million against the United States of America on behalf of a military veteran who received substandard care over the course of several years for a gastrointestinal condition at the Veterans Administration Hospital in West Haven, Connecticut. According to Wildstein, “ because of the defendant hospital’s negligence, our client will needlessly suffer from his gastrointestinal disease for the rest of his life.”
