Jennifer Amdur to Become Partner in the Firm Effective July 1, 2020

We are proud to announce that Jennifer Amdur will become a partner in the firm effective July 1, 2020. Over the course of the last 8 years, Jen has become one of the most respected young litigators in the State of Connecticut in the area of medical malpractice law as she has handled some of the firms most complicated medical malpractice cases. Since joining the firm, Jen has already been awarded over $30 million in medical malpractice and personal injury awards on behalf of our clients, including her co-counsel work in a case that resulted in a $5 million medical malpractice award for a woman who lost her limbs as a result of an undiagnosed bacterial infection, a $3 million wrongful death settlement, a $2.5 million award for a baby who died shortly after birth, and a $2 million settlement for a young man who sustained catastrophic injuries in an automobile accident as a result of being struck by a drunk driver.

Jen obtained her undergraduate degree from Fairfield University, where she graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and she received her law degree at Quinnipiac University School of Law where she received the academic award of magna cum laude. Jen is a member of the American Association of Justice, Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, Connecticut Trial Lawyers Women’s Caucus, and Connecticut Bar Association. She has been voted as a Rising Star by Connecticut Magazine and New England Super Lawyer Magazine in the field of medical malpractice law every year since 2014.

In addition, Jen is very active with Dress for Success Mid-Fairfield County and is involved in a number of other nonprofits locally that support women and children at risk. She also performs legal work on behalf of our Veterans through the Connecticut Veterans Legal Fund.
