Jennifer Amdur has settled a medical malpractice case against a Connecticut hospital that failed to timely diagnose our client’s uterine cancer. According to Amdur, “our client’s cancer progressed from early stage uterine cancer to Stage 4 metastatic disease because a radiologist at the defendant hospital misread our client’s ultrasound causing her cancer to go undetected and spread for over a year.” Our 61 year old client has been courageously battling her metastatic cancer for almost 5 years and has suffered tremendously over this time period. “All the treatment, pain and suffering, and reduced life expectancy would have never happened if our client’s cancer had been timely diagnosed.” The terms of the settlement are confidential.
