Berkowitz and Hanna LLC is proud to announce that Kelly Ferraro has been elevated to the position of Counsel to the firm.
According to Russ Berkowitz, managing partner of the firm,
“Kelly started with the firm as a personal injury and medical malpractice paralegal back in 2009, but her passion for the law led her to return to law school at Pace University School of Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctorate degree. We were thrilled when Kelly came back as an associate, and her elevation to Counsel is another step in her journey with the firm.”
Known for her toughness in seeking the truth in our cases, Kelly has been a vital member of the firm and has worked on some of our most complex medical malpractice cases since returning as an associate. She has also been instrumental in obtaining awards for retired NFL football players in the NFL Brain Concussion Class Action and has been awarded over $20 million on behalf of a number of retired NFL players who have sustained brain injuries during their careers. Kelly is a Connecticut Super Lawyer “Rising Star” and member of the Fairfield County Bar Association, where she serves on its Board. She is an active member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association of Justice.
