The Berkowitz and Hanna Charitable Fund, in partnership with Dignity Grows, has selected the nonprofit, Building One Community, an organization that provides a variety of resources to recent immigrants in the Stamford/Norwalk area, as the recipient of our latest grant. The $12,000.00 grant will be used to purchase and provide essential personal hygiene products every month for 100 women who utilize the services from Building One Community. This past Tuesday, we held a “tote party” to assemble and pack for delivery, the first group of personal hygiene products that will be delivered to Building One’s offices over the next few days.
