Berkowitz and Hanna LLC recently wrote about the possibility of a civil lawsuit against Bruce Jenner over his involvement in a multiple car accident that led to a fatality. Now the firm’s legal experts have learned that the adult stepchildren of the woman who was killed in the crash have filed a lawsuit against Jenner.
CNN reports that this lawsuit, which names the reality TV star and former Olympian, states that the late Kimberly Howe was driving on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California, when Jenner allegedly struck the rear of her car. After being hit, according to the lawsuit, Howe’s car was propelled into the opposite lanes of traffic” and then was struck head-on by another car.” She died in the collision. The lawsuit calls for unspecified damages and the cost of the suit.
According to CNN, Jenner’s vehicle was said to be towing a trailer with an all-terrain vehicle when he ran into Howe from behind. Howe’s car spun into oncoming traffic and was hit by another car. The accident is still under police investigation.
The wrongful death lawyers have handled multiple wrongful death suits involving car accidents. These legal cases refer to an incident where one person’s negligent or reckless behavior results in another person’s death. With the wrongful death lawsuit against Jenner, the firm will continue to follow this story as it develops.
