Russ Berkowitz has filed a wrongful death medical malpractice lawsuit in Superior Court against Danbury Hospital on behalf of the estate of a client who died at Danbury Hospital as a result of delayed treatment of an aortic dissection. According to Berkowitz, “our client was transported by ambulance to the hospital with the classic signs and symptoms of an aortic dissection and the hospital’s medical providers unfortunately misdiagnosed his condition for over nine hours. By the time he was finally diagnosed with his aortic dissection, there was no surgeon available to repair his dissection and our client went into cardiopulmonary arrest and died just as he was being transferred to another hospital.”
