Russ Berkowitz and Jennifer Amdur have settled a wrongful death medical malpractice case on behalf of the estate of a 31 year old client who went into cardiopulmonary arrest after being massively overmedicated in the hospital by a group of hospital physicians who were treating him for a thyroid problem. Our client’s arrest and subsequent 13 minutes without oxygen prior to his resuscitation, left him with a catastrophic brain injury. He remained in a vegetative state for a month before he died. The terms of the settlement are confidential.
