The Berkowitz Law Firm LLC Analyzes Personal Injury Lawsuit Against Wisconsin Dells Resort

Written by Berkowitz

Wisconsin Dells ResortBerkowitz and Hanna LLC represents plaintiffs in personal injury lawsuits in Connecticut that can result from a variety of careless actions such as premises liability. Premises liability holds owners legally responsible for any accidents or injuries that occur on their property, as they are held accountable for providing a relatively safe environment.

Recently, the firm came across an article picked up by The Detroit News involving a personal injury lawsuit against a resort by a family claiming that their teenage boy was injured on a ride that the business knew was safe.  As reported by The Wisconsin State Journal, the lawsuit claims that the boy had gotten hurt on a ride at Kalahari resort in June 2012. The family’s attorney was quoted as saying that the ride, known as the Sahara Sidewinders, imposed “an unreasonable risk of injury to Kalahari’s guests.” The article reported that the ride is an indoor water slide that drops riders from a trap-door chamber into one of two looping slides.

The lawsuit claims that the teen suffered personal injury, pain, suffering and loss of enjoyment of life due to the ride. It also labels the ride as a “dangerous condition or trap.” The firm will monitor this case as it unfolds.
