Russ Berkowitz and Erik Siegel have filed a medical malpractice lawsuit in Hartford Superior Court against Manchester Memorial Hospital, Ellington Obstetrics and Gynecology, P.C., and Lenora Williams, M.D. on behalf of a client who sustained a catastrophic stroke two hours after her baby’s delivery as a result of her medical providers’ failure to timely treat her labor-related hypertension and preeclampsia over the course of 18 hours. Despite being airlifted to Yale New Haven Hospital for emergency brain surgery, our client, a mother of three, has been left with a permanent brain injury and remains partially paralyzed (Image from Flickr via @tatianavdb).
