We are proud to announce that Christina Hanna has been elected as a shareholder of the firm and the firm name will change to Berkowitz and Hanna LLC effective January 2, 2017. Christina is a 2003 graduate of Quinnipiac University School of Law and has been with the firm since the beginning of her career. Christina practices primarily in the areas of personal injury and trusts and estates, and also handles the firm’s most complex ERISA and Medicare and Medicaid issues. She currently heads the firm’s personal injury department and is instrumental behind the scenes in helping us resolve Federal and State insurance lien issues that arise in the firm’s largest medical malpractice awards. Christina is a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Connecticut Magazine and New England Super Lawyer Magazine in the field of personal injury since 2011. She is also very involved in the firm’s philanthropic activities within the community. This is a well-deserved honor for an amazing person and attorney.
