A New Hartford woman sustained injuries after crashing her Toyota Corolla into a house. Ruth Ward was turning into a driveway when her car was struck by a Chevrolet pickup truck, slamming her into the foundation of the house.

Ward complained of chest and neck pain and was taken to a local hospital. The foundation was also damaged.

According to reports, Sandra Holmes, driver of the pickup truck, crashed into Ward’s car because her brake line blew and she was unable to stop.
