Any time, day or night, Kids In Crisis is available to help children, teens and parents in Fairfield County. Berkowitz and Hanna LLC is talking about this charity—and some of its many, many good works—today.

From family conflict to mental health issues, substance abuse, neglect and more, Kids In Crisis works around-the-clock to offer support and solutions to families in crisis, even offering temporary shelter to infants, children and teens. Last year, the organization served more than 5,115 children!

Hundreds of volunteers and donors help provide the care that is at the heart of Kids In Crisis’s mission. Whether it’s assisting with homework, preparing meals or serving as SafeTalkfacilitators, people from the community help this organization fulfill its mission on a daily basis. The charity raises money and awareness through events like the annual Navigators Stamford KIC IT Triathlon, a family-focused summer event. This year, more than three hundred volunteers and dozens of sponsors supported the athletes as they raced to raise money for Kids in Crisis.

Stamford other towns in Fairfield County are fortunate to have the resources of Kids In Crisis at their disposal, and Berkowitz and Hanna LLC is extremely proud to be able to support and volunteer at this local charity. As founder Russell J. Berkowitz has said, “helping area families through Kids In Crisis means a great deal to us. Our neighbors in Cos Cob work tirelessly to care for children and parents in need … and that’s something we are delighted to be able to support.”
