A 13-year old girl died in a house fire in Enfield late Wednesday night, according to WTNH. The news article did not say how the fire was started.
According to the report, the girl’s mom and her boyfriend were able to escape the fire, but the 13-year-old girl was trapped inside and taken by the flames. The house was a complete loss.
Three firemen were injured while fighting the fire. The back deck they were standing on allegedly collapsed, sending all three men to the hospital for injuries. Two of the men went back to the scene after being treated at a nearby hospital and the third firefighter is home with his family.
