This story brings up the larger issue of premise liability. Who should be held liable when someone is injured at a public place such as a sporting event? Was the escalator faulty? Should the stadium have taken better safety measures to prevent a fall such as this from occurring?

These are questions that will hopefully be answered during the investigation. If you or someone you love is injured by falling from an escalator or in another accident at a public place, you should speak with an attorney about your right to compensation.
